Leadership Academy Set for November 15, 2008 The SLD Leadership Academy (formerly COTS) is an opportunity for new and repeating chapter officers and music directors to learn more about how to be effective in their jobs, and to share what they have learned with others in the same positions. Plan to come to the Leadership Academy from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, November 15 at the First Baptist Church in Olean, NY. The ladies of the church will provide coffee from 8-9 am, and lunch will be provided as well. The cost is only $45 per attendee. Faculty include Jim Barickman (Secretaries), John Howe (Treasurers) and Chuck Greene (all other offices). Chuck Greene's seminar will focus on the very important subject of how to have more fun at chapter meetings , and Brian Moore (Dean of the Academy). Checks should be made payable to “Seneca Land District” and mailed with an application to Jim Barickman, 4268 West 28th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
